Induction
Machines have been especially designed for pre-heating
and stress relieving heat treatments with the induction technique.
These machines, produced in a strong stainless steel framework,
spray painted, have been equipped with wheels to facilitate small
movements and eye bolts for their lifting.
The heating takes place by projecting a powerful magnetic field
on the piece which generate a current that heat the treated material
according to Joule's law.
The magnetic field permits uniformly the thickness of the treated
piece. The use of the induction technique is advised when dealing
with thick pieces. In fact this technique guarantees uniformity
of temperature between the surfaces of the treated piece.
The machine operations are completely automated. |
